On Sunday 10th May 1987 I was on duty with Detective Sergeant
MACRAE and other officers on surveillance. From about 0830 hrs I
kept watch on a 1st floor flat No 12 STRICKLAND COURT, FENWICK ROAD
LONDON S.E.15. At about 0850 hrs I saw a man I now know to be
PANOS KOUPPARIS come out of No 12 and walk down to the ground floor
and FENWICK ROAD. He was wearing white shoes, a dark jacket, a wide
brimmed dark coloured trilby hat, dark sunglasses and a black leather
type glove on his left hand only. He walked towards Lordship Lane.
At about 1114 hrs I saw him return to No 12 STRICKLAND COURT and let
himself into that flat with a key.
