Exhibit Tape RH/3   PK gives Panayides some photo strips. Panayides selects two passport photos and returns the rest. Panayides offers PK the money envelope. PK says he doesn't want to carry that much cash around, he only needs two bundles today, he'll leave the rest with Panayides. PK asks if Panayides wants a receipt for the money? Panayides says, no I don't want a receipt. PK asks, do you want to ask me any questions? Panayides says, no thank you.
Police Video Tape A Mercedes pulls up outside the High Commission. PK leaves the vehicle carrying a small black object consistent with a filofax. PK is not wearing gloves.
(Undisclosed police surveillance tapes of PK's telephone calls confirm that he had contacted military equipment suppliers in Milon Keynes and Beaconsfield that morning and had managed to make an appointment later that day to purchase an expensive item of equipment from a company in Beaconsfield.)
PK enters the building. Plain clothes officers position themselves in the doorways of adjacent buildings. PK leaves the building carrying a magazine and a filofax. PK is not wearing gloves or carrying a large brown envelope. DC Madden walks towards PK head on while two officers run up from behind. PK is grabbed from behind, thrown against the railings and punched three times in the kidneys. The filofax falls to the ground. There is no money envelope at the scene. PK is pinned against the railings. Det. Supt. Alec Edwards and Sir Brian Worth emerge from the High Commission and smile at the camera. An officer picks up the filofax from the ground. PK is escorted to the back seat of an unmarked police vehicle. An officer hands PK's briefcase to WDC Y Miles who puts it in the boot. The vehicle drives off with five occupants.

Explanation

The key exhibits are the money envelope, the filofax, the two passport photos (RH/4) and the briefcase.

According to Neil Pratt, he found the passport photos and the filofax in the briefcase. That is impossible. It demonstrates an attempt by the police to remove the passport photos from the scene.

The video tape shows that the money envelope was not at the scene of arrest. Audio tape RH/3 shows why.

The video tape shows that PK wore no gloves. The police witnesses invented the black leather glove on PK's left hand to explain the absence of suitably positioned fingerprints on the specially prepared money envelope.
